I have had it. Windows is history.

From now on, I am going to migrate from the corporate-controlled hell hole that Windows has boxed me inside, and going F.O.S.S.

What is F.O.S.S.? It’s the new thing. It’s Free / Open Source Software and it’s the way I’m going.

Instead of Micro$oft Windows, I’m going with Ubuntu, a very popular Linux distribution that is very user-friendly and beats Windows hands-down as far as usability, appearance, and functionality goes.

What caused this? Well, the BSOD: Blue Screen Of Death. I got it while… get this… downloading a file. That’s right, it crashed twice because of the same thing. An operating system shouldn’t crash because of a problem downloading a file. Let alone twice. Let alone AT ALL.

I figure if I’m migrating operating systems, I might as well migrate everything from commercial software (most of which is pirated anyway) to FOSS. There is an Open Source alternative to nearly every single commercial program.

Instead of M$ Office, one can go with OpenOffice.org or KOffice, both of which include programs that Office doesn’t even include. Instead of Dreamweaver, there are programs like Mozilla Seamonkey, Aptana (my personal choice), and Quanta Plus, all of which are FOSS. Instead of Photoshop, there’s GIMP. Instead of Illustrator, there’s Inkscape.

You get the picture.

Everybody should do this. These Open Source alternatives aren’t that much harder to learn than their commercial counterparts, so there shouldn’t be a problem. I’m even thinking of writing up a little manual about migrating to FOSS completely.

Ubuntu offers a free CD that lets you boot from it and test drive the OS before diving head-first into it. There are also dual-boot programs that let you install Ubuntu alongside Windows so you can try it out fully before installing it over Windows.

In fact, I want to back everything up on my humongous external hard drive, format my hard drive completely (fixing any errors that may exist in the process) and install Ubuntu on a fresh and empty hard drive. I want to start from scratch software-wise.

Oh, yes… there will be blood. But it will be worth it.

I am a long-time hater of Dr. Phil. Let me re-phrase that: I am an opponent of the stupidity that comes out of that moron’s mouth.

Now, before I say anything, let me state that I am in no way, shape, or form condoning pedophilia, the subject of Dr. Phil’s show today. In fact, “pedophilia” isn’t even the appropriate term for the subject material today.

Dr. Phil had on his show a man who had sex with a 15-year-old girl. Dr. Phil, of course, had his usual moronic spew to counter any of the man’s defnenses. What really pissed me off was Dr. Phil’s repeated statements that “a child cannot consent to sex”.

First off, what makes a human being a “child”? At what age does is the human brain suddenly capable of making important decisions, predicting the consequences of said decisions, and knowing right from wrong? Why is the age of consent 16 in some states, but 18 in others? Why is a 17-year-old a “child” in one state, but a full-fledged adult in another?

By Dr. Phil’s moronic reasoning, would it be morally wrong to have consensual sex (which is possible at a certain, indeterminable, subjective age) with a “child” in Idaho, but perfectly okay in Arkansas?

Now, I know fully that the age of the girl they were talking about is 15, not 16 or 17, and that none of the United States has an age of consent below 16. But what difference does a year make in terms of maturity? Is a 16-year-old a child, while a 17-year-old an adult? Does a girl’s 17th (or 16th or 18th) birthday hold some magic powers that suddenly transforms them into an adult?

My point is, don’t call 15-year-olds children. A 5-year-old, fine. Five-year-olds are children and in no way can they consent to anything sexual. But anything past the age of 14 is a gray area. Some countries even have an age of consent of 12. (I know, I know… they are less advanced and sophisticated than us, and we are therefore better than every other country in the world.)

While it may seem clear-cut to some people (“the law is the law”), Dr. Phil brought up his opinion that, all law aside, it was still “wrong” (a term he throws around a lot despite his lack of knowing what the fuck it really means) and that a “child cannot consent to sex”. What if the “child” had been a 16-year-old, which is only a year’s difference? Would it still be wrong?

Sure, in a few states it would be wrong. But in other states it would be right. This is where we must separate legality from morality. If it’s perfectly legal to bonk a 16-year-old in Tennessee, does that make it morally “right”? Since when does location determine morality? It’s ridiculous to think that sex with a 16-year-old is repulsively wrong in one location, but perfectly acceptable and ignored in another a few hundred miles away.

If we start looking at statutory rape in terms of morality, we have a huge gray area, for which there is no clear-cut solution, despite what Dr. Phil so desperately wants to believe. Never mind the fact that there are 15-year-olds who are more mature than some 21-year-olds I’ve known. But that’s a subjective observation that some would vehemently disagree with.

I know most of the people that read this will be offended, but that’s just some tough shit you’ll have to chew. Morality is a tough issue that is subjective in most cases. What’s perfectly OK for one person may be horribly wrong for another.

That’s all I’ve got for now.

The following is an awesome journal post originally posted by Mookie.

1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.

9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That’s why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven’t adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Re-post this if you believe love makes a marriage.

Seriously.

I go to Yahoo! Answers mainly to answer questions and contribute. But lately it’s become such a craphole that I get pissed off every time I even go on.

Barring all the questions that are either stupid polls (“Who is going to win?“) or spam (“Toboggan???????“), about 90% of them could easily be answered with about 5 seconds of research. The people on YA are so lazy that they’re willing to ask their idiotic question in public and risk being considered a moron, rather than using Google and/or Wikipedia.

Below is a breakdown of the types of questions I routinely see on YA:

1. Polls Without A Real Answer

I want to shoot anybody who asks a ridiculous question like “Should we have a YA Avatar beauty contest?” or “Why do people complain about the prices in Abercrombie and Hollister?“. I mean, come on. Give me a break. There are forums and discussion boards for that shit. Keep it out of a site dedicated to answering real questions.

Sadly, YA now has a section dedicated to polls & surveys. Good job pandering to the retards, Yahoo!.

2. Utter Spam

I routinely see questions that aren’t questions at all. But since YA adds the question mark to the end of all submissions, it looks even more ridiculous.

3. 12-Year-Old Social Ineptitude

YA is littered with questions written by little kids that have a lot of growing up to do. One question seriously asked what it meant if a boy tapped her on the shoulder, then (when she looked up) he looked up as if he weren’t doing it. This used to happen all the time in middle school and it was so commonplace and such an old, overused joke that perhaps it went out of style. This girl seriously did not know what the hell it was and was so confused about it. Then, when somebody suggested that he wanted to get her attention, she amended to her question, “But why would he want to get my attention?”

I then came to the conclusion that she was either mentally retarded, or 10 years old. If the latter is true, then she really shouldn’t be anywhere near Yahoo! Answers and should live life before asking the simplest of questions.

Then there are the scary ones. Things like “Im 13 and i think im over weight?” where the girl is 13 years old, weighs only 99 pounds, and thinks that fat on her stomach means she is a disgusting pig. I want to slap her across the face and tell her not to read so many magazines and watch so many modeling shows. It makes me sick to see these kinds of questions even being asked.

4. Homework (or Do It Your Damn Self)

A good number of questions are obviously copied directly from take-home tests or homework questions. Things like “More Math Questions!?” just piss me off. The writer basically asks 5 math questions (after apologizing profusely for wasting people’s time) and then asks “What is prime factorization, and please do it for the number 132.” I answered, quite simply, “Pay attention in class and do your own homework.” I then added, “How dare you have other people do your homework for you. Stop being lazy and learn. This crap is so easy, but I’m not doing it for you.”

What pisses me off even more are the people that actually answer the questions, not realizing that it’s a ploy by a lazy fucktard who wants other people to do the “hard” work for them. And for God’s sake, they’re not even hard question. Is 3/5 less than or greater than 0.70? If you have half a brain and have successfully completed elementary school, you should know this question.

5. Simple Questions (or Google and Wikipedia Are Your Friends)

With Google in one hand and Wikipedia in the other, you have the tools necessary to answer pretty much any question. If people knew how to use either resource, Yahoo! Answers wouldn’t even exist.

That’s it for now. I’m tired and I want to go home.

Yeah! Rules are meant for pansies and push-overs!

Stand Up To Wal-Mart is a joke. Most of the stories on that site are from people who bitch and moan about being stopped and asked for their receipt. So? What’s the big deal? Show them your receipt and be done with it!

One lady had a baby that was crying and just wanted to leave. So why make matters worse and drag the process out by being defiant and stubborn? I really don’t see the problem in just acquiescing and letting them see your precious receipt. They look it over, make sure everything looks kosher, and you’re on your way.

Seriously, these people act like it’s some big deal, like they’re being criminalized by the big corporate bad-guys. They complain that they can’t be detained. Well, just do one simple thing and they won’t think you’re a thief! Do you realize how suspicious it is to refuse to show your receipt, something that takes all of 5 seconds?

You know, at first glance of the site, I was so glad to see another anti-retail movement, much like the Home Depot Sucks site. But then I looked at the stories and realized just how thick-headed and petulant most consumers can really be.

There is even this one story about a guy who set off the alarms and then refused to show his receipt to the employee. I mean, come on now, how ridiculous is that? The average rational person does not question a place of business that he is exiting because he set off their alarms.

These people act like they have some right to act highly suspicious. I used to work for retail and, believe me, we had every right to question customers that had just left and set off our alarms. If they left without stopping for us after setting off alarms, we would call the police and get their license plate numbers down.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this practice, despite what many immature consumers may believe.

If you’re going to lambaste Wal-Mart for something, focus on their shitty treatment of employees, their lack of helpfulness (or existence) when help is needed, their poor layout or upkeep of the store itself, or maybe even their lack of policy notification. Anything but a long-standing policy that spans nearly every retail outlet and is perfectly valid and reasonable.

I leave you now with a quote from the right sidebar of the site, from some moron who thinks rules somehow don’t apply to him:

I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.

Good luck in life, buddy.

Oh my God. Finally, my 6-month-old son has done something that he has never done before…and it’s not even a real milestone!

He slept for me. Let me repeat that. He slept for me.

My wife recently got a job, after having our son and being out of work unwillingly. I promised I’d pick up the slack and take care of him while she worked during times that I was home. We can’t afford day care, can’t afford a babysitter (or, rather, we don’t trust any), and I work a full-time job during weekdays, the normal 9-to-5 deal.

But ever since I started watching him, he absolutely would not sleep for me. I’d have to ask my mother to hold him until he fell asleep, which she was only too happy to do. But tonight, nobody else was home, so I had to go it alone. He was screaming, crying, being fussy, and just overall I was starting to get desperate. He hadn’t taken a nap all day, a rarity for him, so I was starting to get worried that he’d be overtired and wouldn’t sleep at night either.

Ironically enough, I was Googling for help on getting him to sleep (I Googled “baby doesn’t nap during day”), with him in my arms, propped up basically, so he could see what I was doing (which he likes to do). Magically, I noticed him slightly shifting his weight repeatedly, as his head dropped a millimeter closer and closer to my chest. I couldn’t see his face, but I prayed to the Magical Angry-Yet-Forgiving-Yet-Wrathful-Yet-Loving Monotheistic Deity (MAYFYWYLMD) that he was actually falling asleep, in my arms.

This was something I had considered an impossibility until then. Finally, his head lay to rest on my chest, and I began a gentle rhythm of tapping his back and humming an improvised melody. For a good 15 minutes I did this, hoping that he would enter REM sleep and be out cold.

After a while, I gently let his arm drop from atop my hand, and it fell to my stomach. It was then that I knew he was fully asleep. I lifted myself out of my computer chair, which leans way too far back now that I’ve broken both arms, which was its primary support. He shifted and moved his arms. I nearly shit myself as I resumed the tapping and the humming and tried to lull him back to a deeper sleep. He stopped moving and relaxed again.

Again, I lifted myself up, ever so slowly, and walked as slow as possible to our bedroom, placing him ever so gently into his pack-and-play, where he sleeps until we clean up the mess we left in his crib when we last cleaned our room. He fidgeted and whined a little, while still asleep, so I hurried to give him his pacifier, and backed off, waiting for whatever would happen.

He relaxed and fell back asleep. My mission was a success.

While writing this blog, I heard him whining again on the monitor, and I literally sprinted back to our bedroom, literally across the length of the house, literally panicking, and found another pacifier (since I couldn’t waste time finding the one he dropped nearby). I gave it to him, backed off yet again, and watched in relief as he relaxed and fell back asleep.

It’s been nearly 45 minutes since I put him to sleep, and he’s still sleeping. This counts as his first nap of the day (7:10 PM until now). Thank MAYFYWYLMD.

Why didn’t I ever see this coming? I’ve been browsing through YouTube for years now, and it only now dawned on me that it is perhaps the greatest resource exchange forum in the history of mankind.

Think about it! You want to see a music video of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up?” Then just search YouTube and you’re most likely going to stumble upon it on your first try. Want to see a great tribute video to Lieutenant Commander Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation? Just search for “data tng” or “data star trek” and you’ll probably come across my favorite Star Trek tribute video of all time, Data Working Hard, which uses Daft Punk’s “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” set to clips of Data being…well, awesome.

It is with this awesome fascination that I present Part I of my series, “The YouTube Goldmine,” where I compile a list of videos on a certain subject…like the best 80′s music videos, rare WWE wrestler entrance videos, amateur song covers, magic trick how-to’s, Windows hacks, and more!

This issue… Rare WWE Wrestler Entrance Videos!

It never dawned on me to combine wrestling themes (which I collect) and entrance videos to create the full package, sort of like what you’d see on the screen at WWE Raw or Smackdown. So here are some of the rarer entrance videos:

The APA (Acolyte Protection Agency)

Before the APA became beer-swilling fun-lovin’ guys, but after they were the Acolytes, loyal followers of the Undertaker, they were kind of stuck in the phase in between. This was one of their entrance videos.

Barbara Bush (“B.B.”)

No, not the former First Lady. You know, I didn’t even know this Diva (back before they were called Divas) even had an entrance video. But, lo and behold, here it is.

The Big Show

Weeeelllllll… well, it’s the Big Show! But what’s with his theme? His video below was used when he briefly used a remixed version of his theme by Mack 10, K Mac, Boo Kapone & MC Eiht, entitled “Big”. Yeah, I don’t know who they are either.

Chris Jericho

One of the rarer entrance videos out there, this is the video that “Y2J” Chris Jericho used during his debut on WWE Raw on August 9th, 1999, interrupting a promo by The Rock. It includes the countdown, the brief pause, and the very first “Break Down the Walls” theme.

David Flair

The comments on this video just make it all the more entertaining. Used as the entrance video for David Flair, the son of WWE Legend Ric Flair. It is a loop of a 4-second video. Flashy text, David pops up, rubs hands, twists, then Ric Flair pops up, as if to say “God, what a weirdo.” Here it is.

Eugene

This wasn’t exactly Eugene’s first entrance video, but it was his first theme.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts

Jake Roberts had been wrestling in WWE far before entrance videos were ever conceived. But this was the first one that he used once they became commonplace. Kick-ass theme as well.

Mark Henry

The-the… the-the-the beat kicks… start rockin’, rockin’… to the rhythm! I forgot when he used this theme, but it was for a short time, before he had much of a personality. Like he ever had one.

Randy Orton

Third-generation superstar! Yeah like anybody cares about, or even remembers, that fact anymore. This was his first theme, and his first video. I think it was a bad move to include clips of his father, Cowboy Bob Orton, like he was riding on his coattails. But he soon proved himself.

Rocky Maivia

The Blue Chipper! This original version of The Rock was so goofy, cheery, and chipper, that he caused legions of WWE fans to chant “Die, Rocky, Die!” and “Rocky Sucks!” This was one of the few times that WWE actually rolled with it, made him a heel (bad guy), and let him become popular that way. He was hated so much that people started to like him.

Sean Morley

Sean Who?! Val Venis went through a phase where he used his real name and gained power in this role, becoming WWE commissioner, kinda like the GM, but of the entire company, when there weren’t separate rosters. This didn’t last very long, obviously.

Taka Michinoku

Before he was in a tag team with Funaki as Kaientai, he was Light Heavyweight Champion (the WWE’s Cruiserweight belt before buying out WCW in 2001 and using their belt). This was his original theme and entrance video.

The Rock (Nation of Domination)

The Rock joined Faarooq’s stable, the Nation of Domination, and soon overthrew the latter to become its new leader. This was the theme and video he used while in the group. If you listen to his 2nd theme, “Destiny”, listen to this Nation theme, then listen to the Rock’s later themes, you will notice that his later themes are clearly a merger between his old theme and the Nation theme. Theme evolution at its finest. Another great example of theme evolution is the “California” theme, used for WrestleMania 2000, which was later transformed into Theodore Long’s “MacMilitant” theme (originally used for Rodney Mack, hence the title).

Shelton Benjamin

It’s all about the Benjamins! What! Come on! Yeah! Bring it! Holla at me, dawg! Come on! Yeah! Repeat, ad nasueum. I don’t even remember him ever using this entrance video, but here it is.

Ultimate Warrior (snort)

This entrance video was used for his extremely short-lived return in 1996. It was during this return that he defeated a then-new Hunter Hearst Helmsley (later Triple H) in about 12 seconds. That sweet feeling of seeing Triple H being squashed was short-lived as well.

Vince McMahon

This was Vince’s first entrance video, used in 1999. He was the “evil owner” character well before then, but he didn’t get his own theme or video until this one.

Oh, but that’s not all. Far from it, in fact. I collected over 250 entrance videos, most of them current or not-so-rare older videos. Maybe I’ll post that list in a later post.

So, as you can see, YouTube is a venerable goldmine of neat stuff. I’ll be back later with plenty more in later installments of…The YouTube Goldmine

You ask questions. How could WTC Building 7 possibly have collapsed when it wasn’t as close to the towers as other buildings that did not collapse? Never in the history of the universe has a steel building collapsed from fire, blah blah blah…

Listen to me. Just because you are ignorant of the answer, does NOT mean there is none!

Allow me to let that sink in for a moment.

…

There, done? Good. Now, here we go.

The popular belief is that WTC 7 contained explosives, since fire alone has never felled a modern skyscraper.

The facts? Well, several critical factors compromised WTC 7′s structural integrity. Among those are: damage to the south face, unusual structural design to accommodate a Con Edison substation, extreme weight bearing on the floors, and long-burning diesel fuel leaked from large emergency generators.

That’s it! Now seriously, folks, tell me where the conspiracy lies. And don’t give me that “controlled demolition” bullshit either. None of the towers collapsed in a way even remotely similar to actual, real demolitions.

“No! Explosives brought down the Twin Towers! Look at the pattern and timing of the dust and debris blown out from the floors! The vertical fall of the towers! There were two seismic tremors that coincided with their collapse!”

Sigh. The impact of the rather large Boeing 767s damaged support columns and steel floor trusses. This, my friends, caused the inward collapse of perimeter columns, which pulled floors straight down. A misquote of a demolition expert (a popular action among conspiracy theorists) propagated the explosives theory. Seismic spikes, caused by debris hitting the ground, were recorded 10 seconds after each tower started to fall.

Wow, it’s all starting to make some sense now, isn’t it?

“But noooo!!! The holes in the Pentagon! A missile or smaller plane… most certainly not Flight 77… struck the Pentagon! The size of two holes in Rings C and E were wayyy too small to have been made by a 757! A 757 has a wingspan of nearly 125 feet! Explain that, bucko!”

Gladly. Witnesses saw the 757 hit the Pentagon. The plane lost its wings when one hit the ground and the other slammed into the building’s west wall before the Boeing’s fuselage tore a 75-foot hole in the outermost Ring E. The jet’s landing gear caused the 12-foot hole in inner Ring C. But to question Flight 77′s demise is to question the fate of the 64 people onboard; the remains of all but one have been identified!

Anymore? I’m sure there are…

“Noooo!! Fighter jets in range of the hijacked planes surely must have been under orders to stand down! No fighters from the 28 Air Force bases in the area were scrambled!”

You see, there are seven alert sites on the U.S. mainland. Each has two active aircraft that can scramble fighters. The 9/11 commission itself concluded that F-15s were scrambled within 6 minutes of notification of the hijacking of Boston’s Flight 11. Because the hijackers had dismantled the planes’ transponders, the F-15s could not identify the endangered aircraft.

“Ah hah! What about Osama Bin Laden? A few Arabs in the desert could not have possibly pulled this off!”

To say that is to underestimate an enemy… a fatal mistake that should never occur. I won’t even mention the fact that that statement is utterly racist and ignorant. Arabs can pull off anything that Americans, Japanese, or even Canadians (if they were so inclined) can.

Furthermore, who says the hijackers made it crystal clear that they had a bomb, as well as box cutters? They were perfect for this crime. Not only did Bin Laden go to school for civil engineering right about when the towers were under construction, but the US actually used him to hold off the USSR in Afghanistan. Most of the hijackers had college educations, as well as flight experience and simulator training.

In fact, our government probably thought that “a few Arabs in the desert could not have pulled it off” as well. Their underestimation of the hijackers and Bin Laden allowed 9/11 to occur. If there is any conspiracy, it was on the part of the hijackers, waiting until our guard was down enough. That’s it.

And what about the fore-warnings of terrorist threats before 9/11? If there really was some grand conspiracy, wouldn’t early warnings be counterproductive to making it all happen? Why would some parts of our government warn of a threat, while the other parts made it happen? Doesn’t make much sense to me.

Instructing pilots not to open the cockpit doors under any circumstance, plus fitting the airliners with better cockpit doors, may have stopped the attacks. Pilots were under the old rule of doing as the hijackers say. Our experience with hijackers until 9/11 had told us that doing what they said usually resulted in the plane landing after giving them money or whatever it was they wanted.

We had no experience with religious radicals who wanted to cause damage, even at their own expense.

Saying that they were “only” a few Arabs from the desert appeals to the racist in us. Any small group with the same ideals could have done what the hijackers did.

I didn’t even mention the fact that Bin Laden confessed to planning the 9/11 attacks.

“But…but… the towers were the first steel high rises to fall from fire in history! Explain that!”

Again, omission of relevant information fuels the fires of paranoia. There were a lot of “firsts” for the WTC that fateful day. In all the history of high-rise fires…

not one has ever been hit with a plane traveling over 500 miles per hour.

not one has ever had its fireproofing removed from the trusses as a result.

not one has ever had its steel columns (which hold a lateral load) sheared off by a 767.

not one has ever been a building that had the vertical load bearing columns in its core removed by an airliner.

not one has ever been left for 6 to 7 hours with its bottom floors on fire with structural damage from another building collaps, like WTC 7.

The list could go on, but hopefully it’s penetrated through that thick skull of yours. Saying that the WTC buildings were the first high-rise buildings in history to fall from fire is a deceptive statement, because it purposely leaves out the above circumstances.

As for the fact that the towers fell straight down, which looks like a controlled demolition, keep in mind that the towers were steel without concrete. The towers’ permieter steel walls were held in place by the trusses that were connected to the perimeter column by small bolts.

It’s impressive that the WTC towers held up for as long as they did after being attacked full speed by 767s. They were design to only withstand a crash from the largest plane at the time of their construction, the smaller and slower 707. The 707′s fuel load was never considered at the time!

Jet fuel + collision = tower collapse

If you’re not a scientist, please don’t debate this point without scientific evidence to back you up.

It’s like taking a car accident apart and saying the car shouldn’t have skidded off the road because the factory claimed the car could grip up to 0.97 Gs. Although true, it doesn’t take into account other factors, such as rain, dirt, gravel, etc.

You tin-foil hat morons deal in disinformation. You KNOW that the above factors cannot be separated. Yet you do just that, and manipulate information to make your point!

I want to mention one final thing. In order to pull off this massive conspiracy, thousands of people would have had to be involved: the Bush Administration, the NYC firefighters, the courts (for imposing a gag order), the NYC Police Department (who lost over 20 lives), the NYC Port Authority (who lost personnel), all the people in the Pentagon (many of whom are liberal and centrist), the more than 1,600 widows and widowers of 9/11 (who would rather have investigations of the decisions which led to the terrorists getting away with this), the media (who doesn’t follow up on the biggest mass murder and conspiracy in American history), the photographers worldwide (who took pictures of the towers that clearly show bowing of the perimeter columns), Popular Mechanics (who debunked these sites), PBS Nova (who created a documentary explaining in detail how and why the buildings fell), everyone in the NIST (who obviously doesn’t have a moral person in hundreds of employees for covering this up), NY Governer Pataki (who sold steel from the WTC for the construction of the USS New York), the NY city scrap yards (who also sold steel to China before all of it was tested…right), every structural engineer in the world (since laymen know everything from watching videos and reading interviews out of context), the liberals who don’t believe the towers were brought down (like me), the CIA, the FBI, FEMA, the American Society of Civil Engineers (who have produces peer reviewed papers showing how the supposedly impossible is indeed possible), NORAD, the FAA (who saw planes that supposedly never existed), the Silverstein Group (who must have helped for insurance money), Silverstein’s Insurance Company (who didn’t question the collapse and paid out billions to Silverstein), American Airlines (for the Pentagon), United Airlines (same reason), Logan Airpoint, Newark Airport, Dulles Airport (for losing the planes), scientists and engineers (who supposedly developed remote control plane technology), installer of the remote control devices in the planes, remote controllers of said planes, scientists and engineers who developed the new demolition technology (that defies what we know of current demolition technology), installers of said demolition devices, people who worked at the company(s) the installers used as cover, airphone employees who got calls from passengers, fake friends and relatives of the fake passengers, people who detonated the buildings, and anyone who thinks the conspiracy is a diversion to take liberal activist focus off of real crimes.

Man, that’s a long list, huh? Even if half of those people were misled or lied to, that’s still quite a lot of people to be in on something this big.

Even conspiracies with only a handful people are doomed. Look at Enron and Watergate! The more people you involve, the more likely the conspiracy will fall apart. The amount of people needed for even the most basic of conspiracy theories is enough to fill one of the towers. It’s absurd to think this many people could keep a mass murder for Bush a secret this long.
